We built this sapele window frame to replace an old redwood porch which was completely rotten, due to a failed roof that had been left for years. The client wanted to reuse where possible, so we managed to reused the door, door frame, guttering, glazing and slate tiles. We settled on sapele for its durability and affordable price. The client also wanted everything to look the same as it was, including the curved column corner, which we planed by hand. This will last many many years now.
